Policeman accused of killing Kolade Johnson has been dismissed from service
The police has fired from service Insp Ogunyemi Olalekan, the officer WHO discharged the shot that killed Kolade Johnson, at a soccer viewing center in city last Sunday March thirty first.
The suspected killers Insp Ogunyemi Olalekan and Sgt Godwin Orji connected to opposing Cultism Squad were paraded before newsmen nowadays.

Meanwhile a press release from the city state police command representative, DSP Bala Elkana, says Olalekan has been fired from service when he was found guilty. The second defendant was discharged and guiltless when no proof was found against him.

UPDATE ON THE TRIAL OF THE cops presupposed to BE concerned within the SHOOTING OF KOLADE JOHNSON…SUSPECT two-handed OVER TO CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT, PANTI FOR PROSECUTION
The two cops presupposed to are concerned within the shooting of Kolade Johnson on 31/03/2019 were comprehended and subjected to internal disciplinary proceedings, referred to as Orderly space Trial by the Command.
The Orderly space trial commenced on weekday 01/04/2019 and complete on Thursday 04/04/2019.
They were tried on 3 count charges: (1) disreputable Conduct (2) Unlawful and inessential Exercise of Authority and (3) harm to article of clothing or alternative Articles contrary to Paragraph E (iii), letter of the alphabet (ii) and D (i) 1st Schedule, Police Act and rules, Cap 370 LFN 1990.
The Trial started with the reading of charges and taking of plea.
Five witnesses testified.
At the conclusion of the trial, the primary defaulter, Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan was found guilty of disreputable conduct by acting in a very manner prejudicious to discipline and unbecoming of members of the Force by shooting and killing Kolade Johnson; Unlawful and inessential exercise of authority by victimization inessential violence, by victimization Alaska forty seven rifle on the deceased in total neglect to the provisions of Force Order 237 on the utilization of Firearms.
The Adjudicating Officer, CSP Indyar Apev awarded the penalty of dismissal from service and prosecution to the primary defaulter.
There was no proof linking the second defaulter, Sergeant Godwin Orji to the shooting, he was so found acquitted and discharged and guiltless.
The First defaulter, Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan is two-handed over to Criminal Investigation Department, Panti for prosecution in typical Court.
